What if routing fails?

First check if trace width, clearance, via size, and board outline are properly set. Also ensure there are no extremely dense component areas.

Why doesn't my clearance setting take effect?

Make sure you've updated the net rules in your EDA tool before exporting DSN. Usually, you need to re-export DSN after modifying rules.

Why are some trace widths wider than pad widths?

You can use a global clearance constraint to handle this.

What are the differences between Free and Professional versions?

The Free version supports basic routing, AI routing, and differential pairs, but has project size limits. The Professional version supports larger or unlimited project sizes.

Which EDA tools are supported?

Theoretically, any EDA tool that can export DSN and import SES works with PcbAutoRouter. Common scenarios include KiCad and JLCEDA.
